Hosts Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson are releasing a new podcast in collaboration with Perfect Day Media, and just like four years ago, Filip & Fredrik’s Valpodd will focus on the U.S. election. The podcast premieres on October 14th, with new episodes released on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays leading up to Election Day on November 5th.
Filip and Fredrik have covered the U.S. elections in various ways since 2008, from TV election broadcasts to documentaries and podcasts. Filip & Fredrik’s Valpodd premiered ahead of the last election in 2020, and now the duo announces that this year’s presidential and congressional elections will also be documented in an intense podcast series, with at least three episodes released each week during the eventful weeks leading up to and around the election.
– The result of the U.S. election is a global domino that will either send the whole world to hell or towards relief and light. The fact that we once again get to immerse ourselves all the way through this historic journey is a real privilege. The podcast is produced by Perfect Day Media, sponsored, and will be available for free to listeners on all podcast platforms. The first season of Filip & Fredrik’s Valpodd had over 150,000 unique listeners per week according to Poddindex, and was one of Sweden’s largest podcasts during 2020.
