Alex and Sigge are going on their first world tour – in collaboration with Perfect Day Media.

Alex Schulman and Sigge Eklund started Alex & Sigge’s Podcast in 2012, which has since become one of Sweden’s largest and most successful commercial podcasts, with a reach of between 300,000 and 400,000 listeners per week, according to Kantar Sifo’s Poddindex.

Perfect Day Media, which has produced the podcast since its launch in 2012, now announces that the duo will hit the road this fall to meet their podcast audience live and, for the first time, also listeners outside Sweden’s borders, in neighboring Norway.

– It feels amazing to go on our first world tour – which it officially is, since we’re also visiting Norway,” comment Alex and Sigge in a press release

The last time the audience had the chance to see the podcast duo on stage was in 2022, during the podcast’s 10th anniversary celebration, and their ability to both entertain and enlighten has led to sold-out shows. This time, the duo will offer a true live podcast experience, with two chairs and visual elements – no arenas, but instead more intimate venues where listeners always feel invited, whether they’re sharing painful childhood memories or pop culture analyses.

Tickets were released on Friday, August 23rd, and the duo will visit a total of 10 cities, from Umeå in the north to Lund in the south, with a debut performance in the neighboring country’s capital – Oslo.

Tour Schedule: Umeå November 4th, Göteborg November 5th and 6th, Jönköping November 7th, Örebro November 8th, Stockholm November 10th, Oslo November 12th, Uppsala November 13th, Lund November 14th, Linköping November 15th, Västerås November 17th.

About Alex Schulman: Alex Schulman’s books have sold over a million copies in Sweden. He wrote and directed the play Tröstrapporter, which premiered at the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten) in the fall of 2022. Since 2021, he has also been a columnist for Dagens Nyheter.
