Perfect Day Media is currently hosting around twenty premium podcasts, including the two largest commercial podcasts in Sweden – Alex and Sigge, and Ursäkta. Over the past two years, the company has undergone major changes, with Bjorn Ulvaeus‘ company Pophouse entering as new owners, and Hannah Widell appointed as Head of Perfect Day Media to lead the company forward.
-“We kick off the year by taking over the successful podcasts Det Skaver and Amie & Fanna and launching Regelboken and we are incredibly proud to welcome these amazing podcasts to us. We are today very strong in many of Sweden‘s sought after target groups and these additions help us further strengthen our presence. This is a clear step in our expansion effort and together with our new stars, we want to take them to the next level,” says Hannah Widell, Head of Perfect Day.
-“By 2023, podcast listening is expected to surpass 160 million people worldwide and the potential for podcast advertising continues to show success in brand building communication. The fact that both established and new podcasts are coming to us shows how we have managed to create a successful business model and podcast concept that benefits both our advertisers, podcasters and listeners,” continues Hannah Widell
The Skaver is one of Sweden‘s largest podcasts with over 450,000 listens per month where Cassandra Klatzkow, Elsa Ekman & Nadia Kandil discuss life after 30. Perfect Day Media takes over the podcast from Acast and the first episode with Perfect Day Media is released today, February 7. Perfect Day Media is also taking over Amie & Fanna from Spotify.
Amie Bramme Sey & Fanna Ndow Norrby, who previously had the podcast Raseriet, are now podcasting about everyday life, love, and relationships in Amie & Fanna. By Perfect Day Media taking over the podcast, it will be made available to a larger target audience as it will be available on all podcast platforms. In addition, the new podcast Regelboken is launched with Malte Gårdinger, Nonni Ardal and Bob Mattsson. In the podcast, the hosts try to come up with a set of rules to live by in light–hearted, serious, festive and everyday forms.
